Welcome to the website of Sylvesrtris Wedding Films, a specialist wedding videography studio based on the Dorset, Hampshire border. Our unique location just on the outskirts of the beautiful coastal towns of Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch combine with close proximity to Hampshire’s charming New Forest, perfectly situated to serve many wonderful wedding venues locally, as well as having the freedom to travel nationally and internationally.
Unlike the traditional approach to wedding films, mine is one of a candid nature insisting on my wedding films appearing to be from the view of a guest or onlooker and always ensuring the natural beauty of the day isn’t compromised by me or my cameras presence.

Hi I'm Dean,
The camera shy guy behind the lens you’ll be spending one of the most important days of your life with so it’s probably a good idea we get acquainted.
My obsession with videography and cameras in general was born from my love of the great outdoors and being obsessed with capturing it.
When I’m not working I can be found soaking wet enjoying the water in as many ways possible, On a mountain somewhere wishing I had packed more food or bombing down one on my bike.
All of the above I’m most likely to be accompanied by my best friend and daughter May-Rose and her mum, my wife of almost 20 years, Helen.
I’m a massive softy and not scared to admit I’ve shed a tear at weddings. I’ve a wicked sense of humour but am also very good a judging a situation so very capable of being sensible when required.
The best way to get a real feel for what I’m like as a person is to read the reviews left by some of the couples who’s weddings I’ve filmed. They are the best placed people to speak of what its like to have me at their wedding.

Where do I begin to explain what impact Dean has made to our day? From the get-go, he was warm, reassuring, funny and such a professional. Despite not getting a chance to have our pre-wedding meet, I trusted him completely to capture this day for us.
His style is exactly what we wanted: emotive, romantic, warm, cinematic and ethereal. Each video has taken everyone's breath away. The smallest, significant details captured so beautifully.
We also cannot thank Dean enough for staying behind to capture the sparkler exit at the end of the night as well as creating a trailer reel for us the very next day!

We absolutely LOVED working with Dean, from the moment we had our first chat, we knew he was a perfect match for us as a couple, he’s humble, warm hearted, honest, incredibly skilled and easy to talk to. My husband refers to him as “the man, the myth, the legend” because he also was a great support to both us throughout the day, keeping us relaxed, cool, calm and collected. Even our guests said how much they enjoyed his company. He also really gets to know you as a couple, who you are and takes that into account when he makes the films. He is an absolute magician - he managed to catch shots from all angles being only 1 person with 1 camera!
